Unable to schedule our annual #storiesandstewardship event due to COVID-19, small group of volunteers responded to a community report of pallet nails around the concrete pad from the Van Tassel’s restaurant. We gathered our magnetic sweepers, gloves, bags and buckets and headed out. We found metal at various sites around the rock, collecting 23# of material donated to artists for reuse. We are trying to organize another event to sift the broken glass and make the site safe for all visitors, especially the little ones.
